HIRE is a KA220 Cooperation partnership in Vocational Education and Training Erasmus+ project, that started its activities with the first partners’ meeting that took place in Florida -Valencia (Spain) on 4th and 5th December 2023. This meeting served to meet all the partners in person and to establish the guidelines to be followed from this moment on. All the activities to be developed during the 2 years of the project (01/11/2023 – 31/10/2025) were presented and the priorities to be implemented in the short term were established.
The project aims to provide VET trainers with a soft skills training package for job interviews and to provide VET students with a job interview simulation experience through an Artificial Intelligence APP with a 3D avatar to practice their skills and reduce anxiety and pressure levels during a job interview.
The objectives to be achieved are:
- To provide VET trainers/institutes/counsellors with an inclusive and interactive training material for interview preparation.
- To provide trainers with training and material on the interpersonal skills needed to successfully pass an interview.
- To provide VET trainers with an interview simulation tool that they can use with their trainees to prepare them and monitor their progress through personalised feedback.
- To provide VET learners with an interviewer with whom they can practice, self-reflect and break the ice of a real interview.
- To reduce the levels of anxiety, nervousness and other emotions that students/candidates often face during their interviews.
